Sri Rathindra Nath Bandyopadhyaya has several contributions in TVET&SD domain a few are mentioned below:
Establishment of Basic Training Centre (Chem.) Hooghly- a unique institute of its kind in Hooghly district as founder principal in 1987-88.
Member of the drafting teams for NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework), as Jt. Dir. of Training , DGET, MoL&E, GOI.
Drafting New Schemes viz. LWE, ESDI, ITOT as Jt. Dir. of Training , DGET, MoL&E, GOI.
Member of the drafting teams for National Policy on Skill Development, 2009 as Jt. Dir. of Training , DGET, MoL&E, GOI.
Development of several curricula for CTS, ATS, CITS & MES schemes of NCVT as Director, CSTARI, Kolkata, DGE&T, MoL&E, GoI
Acted as Member of Indo-German JWG on TVE&T.
Represented India in ETF CORPORATE CONFERENCE 2011 on “QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORKS, FROM CONCEPTS TO IMPLEMENTATION” at European Parliament, Brussels 6-7 October 2011.
